Creating a new Account

When you create a new Account, it's initial balance will be zero. You will probably want to add a transaction to represent the current balance of the physical or conceptual account that this Account will represent.

You can create a new Account in several places:

• By clicking on the "New Account" button in the Accounts Screen.
• By clicking on the "Edit" menu item in the Main Menu.
• By right-clicking on the System Tree.
