The Accounts Screen

The Accounts Screen provides a summary of all of the Accounts in a Budget System. It displays a list of the Accounts' names and their current balances. This screen also displays the total balance of the Budget System, which is the sum of all of the Account balances.

This screen also provides two date fields, Date From and Date To. These allow you to choose a date range to report summary data for the accounts displayed. This summary data consists of the following columns:
Period debits
The total of all debits, including transfers, from the account within the date range.
Period credits
The total of all credits, including transfers, to the account within the date range.
Period balance
The sum of the period debits, credits, and transfers, or in other words the net increase or decrease to the account over the date range.

The Accounts Screen also provides buttons for deleting Accounts and creating new ones, as well as printing the current view.
